Make a Lasting Impact
A gift of stock is a powerful, low-cost way to support our campaign! You’ll also be eligible for a charitable deduction at its full fair market value and reduce your capital gains impact.
To make a gift of stock:
Transfer your shares electronically by providing your broker with this information for our account at Bath Savings Trust Company.
Name: Tedford Housing
Account #: 010033036506
DTC Number: 2116 (Bath Savings Trust Company)
IRS Tax ID #: 01-0422035
It is always helpful to know that a gift of stock is on its way, so that we may acknowledge your gift and sell the stock, as is our policy. When you have made your gift, or if you have questions, contact Andrew Lardie, Executive Director at andrew@tedfordhousing.org.
For any specific tax questions for your unique situation, we recommend consulting with a qualified advisor before making a gift.
Continuously Improve Our Services To Meet Evolving Needs
A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is like a charitable investment account for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations you care most about. Donor-advised funds are the fastest-growing charitable giving vehicle in the United States because they are one of the easiest and most tax-advantageous ways to enable your philanthropy. We welcome transfers from your DAF. Please note that recent legislation allows you to fulfill pledges from your DAF account as long as the DAF sponsor does not refer to a pledge in the grant letter to Tedford.
Secure the Future of our New Emergency Housing Facility
Including Tedford Housing in your estate plans helps secure the future of our new emergency housing facility. We accept will/trust bequests, beneficiary designations, IRA charitable rollovers, gifts of personal property/real estate, and more. Reach out to our Executive Director to learn more.

“Any one of us could end up in a situation where we could be the one in need of help. There is need all over the world, but I want to make a difference in the community where I live.”
